Elos USA started in 2005 when a mutual friend introduced me to Nicola, the owner of Elos Italy, while I was in Germany for business. In an effort to see what Elos was about, Nicola sent me a few brochures and small products prior to my visit. In the meantime, I searched the Internet and found Elos had a loyal following, mostly in Italy. I saw the Elos products and with my growing curiosity I extended my trip so I could meet with Nicola. We met in Munich and drove to Rome. Along the way we visited Elos stores and after each stop I was more and more intrigued with their products.
Elos is a brand that began in Italy with a few friends who enjoyed aquariums and were looking for an option that did not exist. Out of this came a brand that is built on innovation, pure design, passion and honesty. While all of these words have been used to describe many products, in my experience, few live up to promise of being truly unique.
As a hobbyist, I wanted share Elos products so I worked with Nicola to bring Elos to the United States. After very careful consideration, I took the leap and started Elos USA. With the help of Nick and Elos Italy, we began to import products and even redesigned some of the products specifically for the US market. Now going on five years, we have continued to grow with many new loyal customers who truly enjoy the Elos product line.
But Elos is so much more than a beautiful line of products. While most will immediately appreciate the care given to an Elos product when it is in their hand, it was and is refreshing for me to see a brand that takes care of each product with the same passion that started this company some 15 years ago.
