For the 9th year of Esquire Magazines Ultimate Bachelor Pad they have selected a 19 million dollar 4 story apartment in Brooklyn's Dumbo district. For this project the countries best designers were selected and we are pleased to say that they also selected Manhattan Aquariums and an Elos aquarium system. Esquire Magazines Ultimate Bachelor PadIf you have a chance to watch the show you will see a short segment where they visit Manhattan Aquariums ( Manhattan Aquariums ) and speak to the owner, Joe Caparatta. Manhattan Aquariums has been an authorized Elos dealer for some time and when Joe told me about this project months ago, I never realized the type of home this would go into. When he mentioned it to me, I actually thought he said a, "2 million dollar bachelor pad", so I was really surprised when he later explained the project in more detail. Later in the program they have a few short clips, showing them setting up the System 70 using the AquaTop 60cm as a pendant and a later shot of the system completed. As you can imagine, this home is unbelievable and only a short time of the program is spent on the Elos aquarium but it is great to see nonetheless.
The Elos has recently removed from its catalog the famous NS Series skimmers, which worked with top-down injection with a more classic skimmers with needle wheel.
One of the new monsters presented is the new PS2000 who has taken the place of the old NS2000, now we have one to test on DaniReef.com.

For the new Elos MIDI and MINI, the protein skimmer is the new needlewheel PS200. The PS200 will also be available for individual sale and will retail for $309.99. I get quite a few requests for more detail on specific products and a few have mentioned making short videos. With the PS200 being so new and taking a some assembly I figured this was a good time to attempt a video. Now this is my first attempt at one of these videos and hopefully it will get better with time. Hopefully this helps and let me know if you have any questions.
